After the “Heart” bag for Mother's Day, it is already the
second cooperation with Plan International. The triangular-shaped scarf is made
from a high-quality new wool blend and will be available from the beginning of
November in selected Marc Cain stores and outlets as well as online. 50% of the
net profit will be donated to the organization Plan International.
Plan International is one of the world's largest aid organizations, campaigning for children's rights and gender equality in more than 70 countries. The donation will specifically support two primary schools in Malawi, Southeast Africa. A safe and child-friendly learning environment is to be created for over 4,000 pupils. “The wellbeing of children has been very important to me for
years. Strengthening their rights and investing in their education are the keys
to getting out of poverty. Especially in countries where this cannot be taken
for granted. A safe childhood enables a successful future. In order to achieve
this common goal, Plan International is the ideal cooperation partner,
”explains Helmut Schlotterer, founder and owner of Marc Cain.
The project is supported by numerous VIPs and influencers, including Ann-Kathrin Götze, model and wife of professional footballer Mario Götze, Plan International ambassador and patron of the Malawi school project.
