Olympic skaters introduce themselves in STF outfits, in addition to other things

With singer-songwriter James Blunt and Swiss pop and soul queen Stefanie Heinzmann live on stage, the top Swiss event Art on Ice will present a new show from February 7th to 17th in Zurich, Lausanne, Davos and Basel .

Art on Ice is art down to the smallest detail: every jump, every note - and every costume has to fit. Art on Ice 2019's costume partner is BERNINA Switzerland - the Swiss sewing and embroidery machine manufacturer.

Giuliana Savari and the Swiss Textile School STF are responsible for the design and production of the costumes. The STF creates the costumes for the Art on Ice Skaters Sofia Sforza and Elladj Baldé. In charge for these costumes for Art on Ice are Marcella Camenzind (Producer & Production Manager) and for the STF Dorothea Nicolai (lecturer) and Buyankhishig Tumurbaatar (fashion designer in training).

For Buyankhishig Tumurbaatar, this project is a dream come true . She has always wanted to be able to sew costumes for figure skaters that meet the high demands on fit and freedom of movement. And at the same time fulfill an artistic expression that fits the topic.
